We build, fly, and compete —
from a campus, into the field
The Drones & Robotics Club is one of King Saud University's largest engineering communities. We are students who turn ambitious ideas into real, working systems — and a place where every member, technical or non-technical, ships work that matters.
Our Vision
To be Saudi Arabia's leading student community for drones and autonomous systems — developing builders, communicators, and leaders who carry Vision 2030 forward through real engineering work.

Our Mission
Empower every member — engineer, designer, communicator, organizer — with real skills, hands-on experience, and a community that turns ambition into flight.
Empowering innovation, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Our Journey
Growing Year by Year
From the 2022 inauguration as DAAS to today's nine-committee Drones & Robotics Club — the milestones in brief.
- 2022
The club is founded
A small group of King Saud University students set out to build a home for drones, robotics, and autonomous systems on campus — somewhere ambitious ideas could become real, working hardware.
- 2023
First members, first workshops
The first membership cycles brought builders, designers, and organizers together. We ran the first workshop series and started shaping the committees that still run the club today.
- 2024
Growing into a full ecosystem
The club expanded across nine specialized committees — engineering, software, media, public relations, HR, finance, logistics, and creative — each owning a real piece of how the club operates.
- 2025
A new chapter as DRC
We rebranded as the Drones & Robotics Club, launched a weekly knowledge series, recognized the first Members of the Month, and started visiting industry partners to see how engineering plays out in the real world.
- 2026
A sharper structure for what's next
Restructured leadership, sharper committee scopes, and deeper member ownership — preparing the club for bigger projects, stronger partnerships, and a clearer alignment with Vision 2030.
